Barefoot Lawn Bowls
English lawn bowls is a peculiar sport, someone say something you do when you are retired and aren't so active in later life - something daggy that only your Grandparents would do. We at Oz Experience don't agree with these unfortunate sterotypes because in Australia lawn bowls is pretty cool.
The Oz Experience way of playing with bare feet (no shoes or socks) so you get in touch with the 'green' with a cheap beer in your hand (but not on the green, you'll get told off by one of the Club Members!) and having a 'roll' with your mates makes it an occassion. It's a good way to break up the day and test your skill - it's harder than you think to roll your bowl closest to the small white bowl especially when your bowls are weighted on one side making them curve on the way down the 'green'. All will be explained in the sleepy little town of Sarina.
Good luck and happy rolling to you all!
