Hello-
I just wanted to give my compliments to my bus driver--Mackers--of the
Blue Mountains Day Tour. He was able to turn a dreary and rainy day (June
3rd) nto an unforgetable experience! To be honest, I was dreading this day.
I alled the previous day to see if I could cancel. I knew the weather was
going to be bad and I figured I was going to get a bit ripped off. I
guess there is a 100% cancellation fee though. This is unfair, as the weather
doesn't permit good hiking conditions (I believe they close trails).
Refunds (at least partial) should be allowed in the circumstance of poor
weather. Anyway, back to my point about the driver. He was highly
entertaning and knowledgable, told good stories, and had a great sense
of humor. He took us on a hike that probably ended up being heaps more
entertaning than what we normally would have done on a clear day. He
also ade the group bond and I made some friends that I'll never forget. It's
drivers like Mackers (Adam) that make this company what it is. I'd
highly ecommend him to anybody and I hope he gets the praise he deserves.
Thanks for ensuring that my fun wouldn't lessen due to poor weather!
