Oz Experience is Australia leading flexible transport network. We provide award winning trips for travelers on the east coast of Australia.

We are currently recruiting for the upcoming busy season. This is a unique opportunity for suitably qualified people to work as Driver/Guides on the East Coast of Australia between Sydney and Cairns.

Do you have what it takes?

Essential Requirements

• Ideally between 21 and 40 years of age
• Australian citizen or permanent resident
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• A clean driving record
• Drivers License: minimum "C Class" with intent to upgrade to a Medium Rigid prior to commencement of training with Oz Experience
• Five years driving Experience
• New South Wales Driver’s Authority allowing you to legally drive paying passengers (or a desire to obtain one prior to commencement of training with Oz Experience. See Ministry of Transport website for application form)
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Face-to-face customer service experience
• Enjoy solving problems
• Punctuality and ability to work under pressure
• Potential leadership qualities and good time management skills
• Senior Level First Aid Certificate. This must be an Australian qualification (and must be obtained prior to commencement of training with Oz Experience)
• Willingness to commit to a comprehensive three week training programme
• Willingness to commit to a minimum 6-months employment

Desirable Requirements

• Previous tour guiding experience
• Sales experience
• Sound knowledge of Australia, it’s geography, culture, people, plants and animals
• Travel and/or work experience – within Australia or overseas
• Experience dealing with people from other countries and cultures
