This is the pass for those wanting to have the flexibility of travelling via the Outback and South Coast from Darwin. Break your journey at key destinations like Melbourne, Adelaide and Alice Springs between individual tours that make up the pass.
A Blue Mountains Day tour which is included in your pass if you finish at Sydney.
From Darwin a 2 day 4WD Kakadu National Park tour is also included irrespective of where you finish.

Mary River wetlands is the largest system of its kind in the Northern Territory. It boasts the highest concentration of salt-water crocodiles in the Southern Hemisphere, as well as an amazing profusion of other wildlife.
Here you will go on an exclusive wildlife and crocodile criuise on the river wetland waters.
If you are travelling on a 'Big Croc' tour, you will stay one night in the grounds of Point Stuart Lodge, which is conveniently only a short distance from the Mary River (but far enough from the crocodiles).

Learn about this renowned World Heritage-listed environment - from amazing waterfalls to beautiful Aboriginal rock art. The word ‘Kakadu’ comes from an Aboriginal language called Gagudju, which is spoken in the Northern part of the park.

This group of rock outcrops on the edge of a large floodplain has been the site of continuous Aboriginal painting for an estimated 40,000 years. There are several 'galleries' of art works to walk past and the view from the top of the rocks gives tremendous 360 degree views over the flat plains surrounding Ubirr.

You will get to Jim Jim Falls by travelling down a four wheel drive vehicle track, then you will follow your Guide on a 2km walk down a track that takes in monsoonal forest and passes over large boulders into the gorge that follows Jim Jim Creek.
Each side of the track are up to 150 metre high sandstone cliffs which shade and also create a natural cathedral-like feeling of awe.
The waterfall does not fall during the dry season when the Falls are accessible but there is a large plunge pool to cool off in during the days heat.
Note: Access to Jim Jim Falls may be seasonally impossible when you are travelling (November to May). An alternate itinerary will be offered.

Just getting to the Falls is half the adventure with a 60km drive on dirt roads and four wheel drive tracks to get to the point you take the National Parks-operated boat into to the Falls.
The final bit of the journey includes a small National Parks operated boat shuttle into the deep gorge cut by the wet season waterfalls and creeks here.

Katherine Gorge actually consists of 13 gorges, you can canoe or cruise around the first few gorges appreciating the striking landscape (own expense).

You will pull off the highway to view The Devils Marble's, large exposed pieces of granite. Their unusual shape and presence, apparently balancing and not rolling off the rounded cap of rock they sit on has become iconic to the Northern Territory.

This is an overnight stop for the Oz Experience bus. Accommodation and meals are included here as part of your Local Payment. It's a great spot to spend the night and get a taste for an outback lifestyle.
You'll get a great bush dinner and breakfast and see a whole lot of wild animals that roam the grounds of the property. You'll probably see kangaroos and bush turkeys and if you're lucky an emu or two.
Sit around the open fire after dinner and share in the ambience of the outback.

This is the first stop of the day. A great place to grab some breakfast if you haven't already had some or just a coffee. better than all of that, is to get up close to a camel.
You can also go for a short ride on the camel (own expense) and get the experience of what it is like high up on the back of the camel.

The Oz Experience bus will overnight at Yulara at our permanent campsite, as close as anyone can camp next to Uluru. Accommodation and meals are included here as part of your Local Payment.
You will see sunset (with complimentary sparkling wine to enhance the experience) and sunrise change the light over Uluru.
You will have the option to walk around or up (not encouraged by the traditional Anangu Aboriginal owners) Uluru.

More than likely you will see some peculair White Kangaroos at Bordertown when you stop there. They are actually not albino roo’s as they have dark eyes not red/pink. They are a direct result of genetic breeding.

The Grampians, Gariwerd as the Aboriginal People know it, is famous for its rugged mountain ranges, superb scenery, wild life, bushwalks, waterfalls (particular McKenzie Falls), rock climbing, and abseiling as well as the wild flowers which bloom between August and November.

Near Port Campbell you and your Guide will take the Gibson Steps down to the beach for a look at the Twelve Apostles and then check out Loch Ard Gorge before continuing along the western end of the Great Ocean Road viewing London Bridge, Bay of Martyrs and Bay of Islands.

This elevated tree top walk is unique in its kind insofar as it is the longest (more than 600 meters) and tallest (can reach about 25 metres high) in the world.
Normal admission costs AU$19.50 but entry is included with your pass.
You'll do a short walk here and learn about the giant forest trees and special ecology of the area from a new perspective high in the forest canopy.
There's also a 45 metre high spiral lookout point for those looking for some extra excitement!

Torquay is the home of the Rip Curl pro surfing event every Easter at the famous Bells Beach surf break. Oz Experience stops at Torquay for a bit of shopping at the factory outlets for Rip Curl and Quiksilver clothing. You will also stop at nearby Bells beach to see the surf pump in to shore.

At Wilsons Promontory National Park you will have time to hike and explore!
Walk on squeaky beaches and watch the ocean of Bass Strait pound on to the Australian mainland’s most southerly point.
Your guide will take you on a walk along spectacular granite rock formations with fantastic views and learn about the coastal flora and native wildlife (maybe even sighting emus and wombats)

You will travel along the The Barry Way - a remote un-sealed road that cuts across the Snowy Mountains on the Victoria and New South Wales state border.
It is a road rarely travelled by the general public but it offers spectacular views of the surrounding valleys and rivers including the Snowy.

This is an overnight stop for the Oz Experience bus. Accommodation and meals are included here as part of your Local Payment. Here you’ll get to enjoy the mountain life; perhaps a sauna, swim or a drink at the bar while taking in the magnificent view of the lake.
Seasonal itineraries:
Let the bus do all the work as we climb high into the Australian Alps (seasonal Nov-May). Enjoy a rewarding hike to the glacial Blue Lake along an alpine track (2½ hour round-trip) absorbing stunning views and the peak of Mt Kosciuszko (the highest point in Australia).
During winter, (Jun–Oct) we visit the ski village of Perisher/Smiggins for fun in the snow (optional hire of toboggans or snow tubes at own expense).
