We participated in your southbound odyssey boarding Oct 13/07 in Cairns and saying goodbye in Brisbane, Oct. 23.
Now that we are settled back in Duncan, B.C., Canada, we want to let you know how much we enjoyed the experience. We do not represent the typical OZ client because we are 68 and 66 years old, respectively. Nonetheless, we found it refreshing to travel with young people from a variety of nations. Staying in youth hostels proved to be a totally positive experience as well. Once one has mastered the intricacies of the bus schedule, Oz tours are a flexible and stress-free way to travel.
The secret to a good trip lies with the driver, who serves not only as chauffeur, but tour guide and travel agent as well. We were fortunate to have as our principal drivers - Haley and Cuddles. Haley is an extroverted bundle of energy with a strong client focus. After a long day's drive she could always be found working with customers to plan the next leg of the journey, book tours or find accommodation. Her cell phone gets a good workout! Her attitude lends a 'fun' tone to the tour and we thoroughly enjoyed this.
Cuddles is Haley's diametric opposite in personality terms, but he too was very helpful in meeting any of our needs. In his quiet, calm way he displayed an impressive knowledge of the countryside and its people.
We were impressed with both of your employees and will not hesitate to recommend them and OZ to our friends.
