Booking an Oz Experience Pass
Making a booking via this website is simple. You can even print your travel voucher which you need on the bus on day 1.
You can also buy an Oz Experience pass at most travel agencies and hostels throughout Australia and overseas. Oz Experience has offices in Sydney, Cairns, Darwin, Adelaide and Perth. We call them Oz Ex Sites.
Our Oz Experience site crew can help you plan your trip in great detail; they can book your sectors for you; help you with the online booking system, and talk to you about all the great activities ahead on your journeys. If you’re thinking of travelling to the Northern Territory with Adventure Tours our site crew will help you choose the right pass.
Once you’ve purchased a pass
You will need to let us know 3 very important things:
- What date you wish to leave on the bus
- Where you want to start from
- And where we pick you up from
You can book an open-dated pass. This means you buy now and tell us when you want to start travelling at a later date.
Starting your travels
You need to exchange your voucher for a “Ticket to Ride”. This is your passport to Oz Experience, and has your all-important confirmation number on it. You need this number to book on and off the bus. You can do this exchange on your day of departure.
Booking on and off buses
The months of January through to April are by far our busiest. We recommend you book at least 2-3 or even 4 days ahead to get a seat. More if you’re on a tight schedule. If you’re going to Fraser Island for 3-days, or sailing or any trip for a few days always book your seat before you leave.
If you’re travelling over the Christmas period or intend travelling in this period you need to book EVERYTHING well ahead.
It is your responsibility to book yourself on and off buses. Our guides cannot do it for you. Here’s how you do it via this website.
Timetables
One of the first things you need is one of our Timetables. You can download Timetables from this website. These tell you the days we travel – which depends on high or low season – and the times we depart, and most importantly all the awesome places we go.
