Mary River Wetlands

Mary River wetlands is the largest system of its kind in the Northern Territory. It boasts the highest concentration of salt-water crocodiles in the Southern Hemisphere, as well as an amazing profusion of other wildlife.

Here you will go on an exclusive wildlife and crocodile criuise on the river wetland waters.

If you are travelling on a 'Big Croc' tour, you will stay one night in the grounds of Point Stuart Lodge, which is conveniently only a short distance from the Mary River (but far enough from the crocodiles).

The Mary River system is 150km from Darwin and lies just outside the Kakadu National Park boundary.

It is proposed the area should become a National Park in its own right.
