Visit the Great Barrier Reef from Cape tribulation 

The advantages of doing a reef trip from Cape Tribulation are as follows:
• The reef is much closer to Cape Trib than it is to Cairns and as such takes less time to get there; 17km vs. 30km.
• The reef is pristine because there is limited farming activity and less people living in the world heritage area, leading to less waste and agricultural run-off which harms the coral. As a consequence, the water clarity is better.
• There are only two boat operators with permits from Cape Trib, meaning fewer people visiting the reefs.
