Located a short 15 minutes from Cairns, your day with the Tjapukai people will be full of exciting activities and eye opening presentations. Here you’ll be able to try your hand at boomerang and spear throwing, witness a hunting and weapons demonstrations and see if you are amongst the small percent of people with the ability to play the didgeridoo. You’ll witness cultural dance shows and even be shown native bush food preparation and medicine techniques. Creation, art, history, heroes, dance and weaponry. Pure, unequivocal culture.
